Santiago, Chile (PART THREE)…

The biggest surprise of our trip was our time spent in Valparaiso. Its much smaller than Santiago, but is on the coast and has a wonderful vibe.

On top of the scenery, we were able to see a new shop that will open this fall called Proyecto Casa Plan Print Studio. We fell in love with Valparaiso immediately, and I think you will see why. DSC_0038 copy

A quick stop to taste some wine before we hit Valparaiso. Everything we tasted, the entire trip was amazing.

Valparaiso is a bit grittier, lots of graffiti everywhere. It felt a bit more alive than Santiago.

Valparaiso is also built into the hillside. Parts of it feel very familiar to Morgantown and Pittsburgh.

There was so much graffiti, and a lot of it good too.

Right now, the shop is a big raw space, this is pretty much a total gut job to the building. Lots of room and light. There are resident areas on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building.

There is an office on the 2nd floor with a gigantic window overlooking the shop.

We had lunch at a fabulous restaurant, you had to ride an incline to get to it.
