I was lucky enough to make it to the opening of “Curator’s Choice” at Concept Gallery in Pittsburgh. Concept Gallery is celebrating their 40th anniversary by asking regional curator’s to select an artist to show.
I was asked by West Virginia University Art Museum Curator Bob Bridges to be in the show. I cannot thank him enough, because the exhibition was amazing and really well attended. Bob wrote a statement about my work that I thought really captured what I am trying to accomplish through focusing on this one comic from my past. Thank you to Bob and everyone at Concept for a great time.

This was the scene at the public reception on Saturday, it was packed all night…the private showing on Friday was three times as full…
