Have you been cold called by Let’s Go Tenerife the new set up of Eugen Kaiser?

lETSGO

Let’s Go Tenerife has commenced a cold call campaign recently and is offering a range of services which vary from Holiday accommodation to Timeshare Disposal and even refund claims.

On the web from Let’s Go Tenerife  – http://www.lets-go-tenerife.com/ – they present themselves as a Holiday Accommodation company, although there is not even mention of prices for the accommodation or Terms and Conditions.

The Timeshare Owners, who have been approached by Let’s Go Tenerife on a cold call, were actually approached to offer them a disposal service.

Our informants have revealed that this company is yet again part of another group of companies which are headed up by Eugen Kaiser.

Let’s Go Tenerife adds up to a long list of companies such as  Resorts4all, Timeshare Refund Network, Reclaimgc, Gran Canaria Resorts, MM Consultancy, Blue Flag Travel Solutions, etc.

For those not familiar with the Group of Companies you can read more about them on the following link: https://mindtimeshare.me/?s=reclaimgc

On the website which was registered in April 2013 there is actually no company registration number or an address for their offices.

The only contact details are their phone numbers  0203 519 2155 & 0203 514 0506 and an email address admin@lets-go-tenerife.com

On the cold call the Timeshare owner is offered 2 options to dispose of his timeshare. He can combine the Disposal transaction with a holiday in Spain or he receives a consultant at home in the UK. The Holiday option would be £499 of which £300 would be returned when the owner arrives in Spain.

If the owner arranges to go to Spain for the relinquishment, it will be done in a day and he will be given a certificate there and then. In case he receives the consultant at home in the UK it will takes 6-8 weeks from the time of the home visit.

The agent calling from Let’s Go Tenerife also mentions that they can also help with claims under the Consumer Credit Act in case the owner paid dubious resale companies.

Of course knowing this company is connected to ReclaimGc we can imagine who is going to visit the Timeshare Owner at home or where they will end up in the Canaries on a presentation. A visit or a presentation that can cost the Timeshare owner thousands and thousands of Pounds.

If you have been contacted by Let’s Go Tenerife from 02035192155 or 02035140506 for a disposal service then please let us know.

They are awful. They coldcalled me pretending to be from a timeshare company which my husband and I are members. They claim to offer substantially reduced holiday to members.
Now we are trying to claim our money back from the credit card company.
They use several names, “Let’s Go Tenerife” and “Let’s Go International” are just 2 of them. Their name showed up as Mohawk Marketing on my credit card statement.
    BEWARE!

Mohawk Marketing SLU, are a sales team. You get a cheap/not up to standard apartment, in return for 4-5 hours sales pitch in a luxury office, then a tour around a newly built top of the range apartment, that they want you to buy. If you do not attend this “presentation” they will charge you extra for the apartment. Take my advice, pay full price for a holiday and apartment and don’t get caught up in this……it’s cheap for a reason!

In July I was offered one weeks accommodation to be taken any time in the next 3 years. I said I was not interested but eventually agreed to a week if I could have Duchally in Scotland. The deal was one weeks accommodation in a one and two bed apt for £389 from 5-12October. No confirmation was received and I began to get an uneasy feel about it. Several emails and telephone calls later I was told they could not provide the accommodation for a week only 2 nights therefore I asked for a refund to my credit card. I was told it had to go to my bank and I provided the IBAN no as you might guess the money was never refunded however my credit card fraud dept were able to recover the money which had been paid to Mohawk SLU last week so a very good outcome. I will be extremely vigilant in future and I do thank Alberto Garcia for his web site which alerted me to the scam.

    • Jayne says:

  6. Tracey says:

Just found this having been cold called by this company tonight offering me week’s accommodation for 4 in Tenerife for £99. Do I need to contact my bank – are this company scam artists?

  7. Hannu says:

Yes, I got a call already in early July and a Finnish speaking young man referred to RCI and made me a great offer, which included one week in LaPinta club in Teneriffe for four people incl. transportation from the airport and breakfast. Additionally I was offered free Caribian cruising for four people. They wanted to get more people from Scandinavia to come to Caribien. The collected price was 750euro. Money disappered, but nothing happened until today except one call in early September.
I was requested today by email to sign some papers via Electronic signing service. They
confirmed that I am now a member of a club, but the name is not LaPinta.
I have meanwhile contacted police in Finland and asked the bank to collect the money back.
What is you advice? The person, who called me gave his name and the phone number in Spain. Nobody answers the phone, if I call. The money was transferred to Mohawk Marketing SLU.
A long time RCI member from Finland
