Saving School Libraries

For those of you who have been keeping up with recent events in Windsor-Essex, you may be interested to know that an online petition has been started in protest of the proposed school library closures. The petition asks that the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board withdraw its recent decision to close all of its school libraries and lay off all library staff, with the exception of four library technicians. The petition can be found here, and for those of you who would be comfortable doing so, I encourage you to head on over and add your name to the list.
