My adventures into Motherhood

6 month review

Sofia turned 6 months on the 11th on July, so here’s my self-assessment of my mothering progress so far this year. In true corporate style this review is taking place much later after the 6 month period in question….aaaaahhhhhh it’s almost like being at work!

Achievements to date:

  • Sleeping through the night with an all time record of 10.5 hours, but averaging 8 hours before needing a feed
  • Eating pureed foods 3 times a day
  • Can drink from a beaker
  • Sitting up by herself
  • Rolling both front to back and back to front
  • Weighs 6.5kg
  • Pushing up with her arms and wriggling backwards, but has yet to work out how to go forwards
  • Can suck her own toes
  • Has never been dropped or fallen off any item of furniture
  • Has not yet had a cold or any other sickness
  • Is still alive and happy and healthy

Now she’s eating a whole lot more, trying to crawl, sitting up and playing with her toys, I can feel that the next 6 months are going to be even better! Here’s some pics of the first 6 months…..
