   It’s a shame to see what’s happened to Las Vegas. I’m 67 years old and started going there in 1970. The problems with Las Vegas started in 1995, when they went construction crazy. They built hotels and casinos all over the place and never thought about the consequences. It became a big city, with big city problems, and the recession just made it that much worse. For those of us who remember the old days, before 1995, it was truly a paradise on earth. There was no traffic. If you ever hit a red light, there was never a car in front of you. If you got drunk and left $5,000 on the blackjack table, they’d go looking for you and bring you your money. Today you’d be lucky if they’d leave you enough to buy a cup of coffee. It’s really a shame.
