Re: Parole Hearing Planned for Edward A. Seibold, AIS# 105403, Hearing Date: August 14, 2012

Please DO NOT grant parole to Edward A Seibold, AIS# 105403. As a concerned citizen, I am writing to protest the projected parole of this convicted murderer.

On September 6, 1967, Edward Seibold entered the Sinclair home and proceeded to use a shotgun on the people in the home that he could find. He was obsessed with Cathey Sinclair, age 20. They had dated, but Cathey broke up with him after the summer of 1966, but he would not be stopped. He harassed this family over and over again, until he went there to shoot and kill all in the residence. At the end, killed 3 people, 1 adult, Sarah Elizabeth Sinclair, 18, and 2 children, Mary Lyn Sinclair, 9, and Mary Durant, 8. He also shot and wounded Juanita Sinclair, Cathey’s mother.

The heinous nature of the murders of these girls, and the continued harassment of this family should preclude any consideration of parole for Edward Siebold. His actions have shown that he is extremely volatile and that he has no regard for human life. For this heinous crime, Seibold was originally sentenced to death but it was later changed to life in prison but he sentenced the Sinclair & Durant families and friends to a lifetime of grief and sorrow.

In the interests of justice, public safety, and to lessen the emotional trauma for the victim’s family, please consider giving Washington a three year set off before any future parole reviews.

Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
