Okay, so my mother-in-law mentioned the Country Living Fair was taking place in Atlanta the SAME weekend we were scheduled to be there, so I totally made it happen. Since she couldn’t be with me, I made a point to talk LOTS of pictures for her, so she could get a feel for the kinds of things that were there. Here is the second installment of pictures from my most excellent adventure at the 2013 Country Living Fair in Atlanta.
There were lots of things I never in a million years would have thought to create that I thought were cool…
Like these little 3D art pieces.
These little carved birdies don’t look like much in the picture (these pictures were taken with my phone) but they were really pretty in person. They are meant to hang from the center of your curtain rod, so you have a lil’ birdie in your window. This reminds me of our bird adventure.
I thought these gray and white faux flowers were really interesting and unusual. When my friend Rachel was scrolling through the pictures on my phone, she said she had seen them at Hobby Lobby before (in case anyone is looking for them).
If you are looking for architectural remnants to use as candle holders or turn into lamps, etc. there were lots of options at the fair. This booth was called Fragments Reborn.
Lots of great original artwork, too. I totally took this next picture for my friend Rachel who loves unique finds (and horses!).
Merry band of critters in a bucket.
I didn’t see anyone leave empty-handed.
I got this mirror, which looks fabulous above the bed in our guest room.
