2012 Angullong Fossil Hill Tempranillo

imageCold, wet season in Orange and the Central Ranges. It shows here.

Only just medium-bodied. The acidity is a lemony. Savoury, fresh red berries and mulch. Spicy with a good deal of crunchy tannin. It is a little sharp and short, lacking commitment on the back-palate, but it could work as a bistro wine. 86
