My mother’s flower gardens in the fall. Her father was a farmer and often raised fields of flowers for seeds. She grows flowers to give (I frequently see her cutting blooms for friends, for people who are ill, or in nursing homes). Mom loves to give garden tours, loves sharing the delight of effort in bloom. A tour of the garden from late September, pardon my faulty photography. I hope you still get the idea.
This garden is breath taking! Love it!
š I’ll let her know you like it. Hiii! Miss you!
Beautiful flowers.
wow you’re so lucky to have such an awesome mom š
Simply wow!
Wow, what a wonderful garden! Very uplifting š
Thanks! Are the flowers still in bloom up there?
Wow! That’s what it looks like in September? You’ll have to hit it up for us again starting in the spring! Your mom is so generous.
I’ll catch her in the spring as well. Something to look forward to next year, I guess. Perhaps I’ll take a photography class first…
Its a beautiful garden, your mom must have a very green thumb š
Absolutely gorgeous!
I have always believed that plants know when they are loved! Your mother has created a garden where beauty, love and peace flourish. Thank you for sharing…
What a lovely perspective! She has put in a lot of work–dahlias must be planted and dug up every year and kept indoors for the winter, for example! To me, it’s a marvel!
Unreal. These pix could be framed as fine art! What beauty.
Awww, you’re sweet, especially considering my lack of skill with the “focus” feature. š
I would really love to see the garden in person! My grandmother would love these pictures, will show her later ā„
Thanks so much! Mom is quite a garden gal. I hope your grandmother enjoys the photos. š
What a lovely garden. Kat š
A truly beautiful garden. Obviously your mother loves her garden and knows what works well together. Exquisite.
Absolutely gorgeous!
I LOVE flowers! The photos are awesome! Too bad I can’t enjoy some of your mom’s beautiful flowers from her garden! It’s good to know she shares them to bring joy to others!
Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog!
Sure thing! Mom is crazy about that garden. We had a big freeze after I posted, so there are so few left. I’m glad I caught them first. Hope to see you again! š
Oh my goodness! Such beauty! And I’ll bet your mother is as beautiful as the flowers she loves.
Dear Kat, so nice to get to know you from your flowering loving blog – happy that you are following mine!

Oh, that’s going to make her blush! š
lovely! so refreshing! thank you.
Thanks so much! It’s Mom’s true pride and joy. I don’t mind being #2. š
Wow, love really does grow in a garden so personal–it is palpable. This garden is sublime. My mother’s father was also an agriculturalist–everyone in her family really had the love of gardening, cultivating and creating. I’m so glad you directed me here.
I’ll be sure to tell Mom, who will likely blush and shrug and smile to herself. My grandfather had massive gardens on his farm, so her in 68-acres-fewer way, she is modeling him. š Thanks for passing through!
