Middle School Girls Swim Well Again!

The Middle School girls team had their last dual meet of the season on Monday (11/23)! This time the girls faced off with the Riders and, again, they did great! Check out the meet highlights below and several photos (courtesy of A. Meyer)!

Meet Highlights
Here’s a few meet highlights. Be sure to check out the full meet results too!

  • Rails took the top 4 spots in the 50 Free
    • Catherine Dooley, 28.73
    • Ellie Sizemore, 29.72
    • Kalani Mangin, 30.66
    • Josie Helm, 30.76
  • Torin Lackmann won the 100 IM with 1:16.76
  • Anika Snow swam the 100 IM in a fast, 1:25.14
  • Diana Ward won the 100 Free in 1:11.69 Meanwhile Abigail Sealine and Grace Laman took second and third respectively.
  • Ellie Sizemore won the 200 Free in 2:22.31
  • Courtney Meyer took second in the 200 Free with 2:34.36
  • Catherine Dooley out-touched Torin Lackmann by 1 one-hundredth of second in the 50 Breaststroke to take first place (adding to their friendly rivalry!)
  • The Rails also took the top three spots in both relays, the Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay.

MS City Meet | Roosevelt High School, Dec. 8: This big meet marks the end of the middle school girls season! The girls will get the chance to earn medals and ribbons. Plus – the top 6 in every event will get to stand on the podium. We hope to win every event and fill the top six spots with as many Rails as possible. Good luck girls!
