He plans to major in Sports Management, which stems from his love for tennis, hockey, football and baseball. Hunter went on to say that he believes he is sitting somewhere between a 3.4 and 3.6 which shows that he is here to earn a good education while balancing out his fun and social life. He chose Gardner-Webb because it was the least expensive out of all his choices but also because of the class size and the beautiful campus.He believes that the one on one attention from each professor and students is essential to getting the best out of the classroom experience. Hunter went on to say that the food in college is decent and that his favorite meals would have to be either be a cheeseburger and french fries or pizza and french fries, with a Powerade and Birthday cake ice cream. He also stated that having a roommate was not that bad of a transition after the first three to four weeks when the tension dropped and they had done things together like play ping-pong, flag football, basketball, and pool.
He is also involved with a group on campus known as the Student Alumni Association(S.A.A.), which had a battle of the bands around Thanksgiving time to raise food and canned goods for families in need.He also wishes that Gardner -Webb had fertinites to reach out to more students and to get himself involved with Greek Life. Hunter closed by stating that his favorite place on campus would have to be either the gym or the football stadium and that college so far could be summed up in one word, “different”, because so far its been all about transitioning from home to campus and a roommate.
If Hunter’s not involved with some school wide activity or on a date with his girlfriend he is usually either, “working out listening to music and chilling or in his natural habit eating”.Hunter’s favorite college football team is the Auburn tigers(War-eagles), with the recent most notably player being Cam newton, His favorite NHL team is the Philadelphia Flyers and his Favorite NFL team is the Philadelphia Eagles. Michael Vick is one of Hunter’s favorite players in the NFL, he also likes to listen to Blink 182 and Wiz khalifa and “practice being a Ninja doing air karate moves, he thinks being a Ninja would be the coolest thing to do ever.Though, Hunter has enjoyed his time on GWU’s campus he is on the fence about transferring, simply because he wants a more involved city atmosphere and that Boiling Springs though very peaceful and tranquil does not provide that. Even with this being stated, Hunter believes Gardner-Webb is still a Good academic institution.
