Race against time
Some people pass the time, others make the best of it. Racers have made a comeback and even though those skinny little tyres don’t agree with the width of those tram tracks and cobblestones, they are a super fun way to get around. This Amsterdammer is just soaking up the sun on a chilly summers day, next to his wheels just waiting for a friend..

I wasn’t really aware, here in the US, that skinny tires had “faded from popularity”, since I rarely pass a day without seeing one. I’m good with people riding them, always have been; used to do it myself, before my back and joints objected to it. That’s the reason I ride a full-suspension MTB, for the ease on those critical parts.
There have been times when I secretly wished I was still able to ride a “roadie”, but things are as they are, and I take great delight in “getting air” under my tires, small as it is.
