....and a very telling remark about Hollywood stars credited as Executive Producers.

Following on from comments that Matthew McConaughey would be open to more of True Detective if the script was right, now Woody Harrelson has made similar overtures.
“I think it’s a great brand, and I think if we got everything right – the writing, direction, acting and everything – in the third season, if it ever happened, it would be possible to make it much better,” he told Digital Spy.
More tellingly in his remarks he lets us know what we have all been thinking when a Hollywood star is credited as an Executive Producer.
“I never even went to the set on the second one –Â I didn’t really deserve my executive producer status.
“I didn’t even read the damn script! But I’d like to think if we did a third season, I’d be well on top of it, making sure it was great.”
Uh huh…..

I thought S2 was good.. Sure, not in the same post code as S1..
But the actors did a great job with a confusing and convoluted script.
I guess Woody didnt like the second season either
Do you get paid for executive producer status even if you don’t do any producing?
Yes you are part of the deal.
