Haneyya condoles family of Hamdiya, hails his struggle

GAZA, (PIC)– Gaza premier Ismail Haneyya reached the son of Maysara Abu Hamdiya, who died of cancer in Israeli jails, on the phone on Wednesday evening.

Haneyya extended condolences over the death of the father to his son and hailed his national role and history of struggle against occupation.

The premier held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the death of Hamdiya, 64, in custody.

Maysara Abu Hamdiya who hails from Al-Khalil, died in Soroka hospital on Tuesday of throat cancer. He was denied proper medical treatment on the part of the IOA that even refused to release him at his last days.
