NABLUS, (PIC)– Civil defense brigades in the West Bank on Wednesday morning found the bodies of two young women who were reported missing on Tuesday night after floods swept the main road between Nablus and Tulkarem.

The brigades said in a statement on Wednesday that a taxicab driver, who was rescued after floods swept him and his car, said that two young women were with him near Enab roadblock to the west of Nablus when floods surrounded them.

Local sources identified the two young women as Hana Sarawi, 24, and Samah Kenan, 34, adding that both were on their way back to Nablus, their hometown, from Tulkarem.

They said that their bodies were found to the east of Enabta village a long way from where they were reported missing.
