“A nine-month-long narcotics investigation that began in Brockton led Brockton Police Detectives to Boston, where they took heroin, cocaine, and the deadly and powerful synthetic opioid Fentanyl off the streets.

With help from the State Police’s CINRET Team (Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team), detectives disrupted a Drug Trafficking Organization whose efforts destroy lives and communities for profit.

Police executed two search warrants in Boston Tuesday (Nov. 23, 2021) that led Brockton Detectives to arrest two drug dealers and seek warrants for six others. Investigators seized nearly a half-a-kilo of cocaine and close to 30 thousand in cash from the Boston address.

Two men are behind bars in the Brockton case. 28-year-old Lolys Santana and 28-year-old Jonathan German-Lara face several charges, including Trafficking in more than ten grams of Fentanyl. If convicted of Trafficking alone, they could face up to 20 years in prison.

Detectives seized 17 bags of Fentanyl, crack cocaine, two bags of heroin, and nearly two thousand in cash connected to the two suspects arrested.

They also charged the men with two counts of distributing a Class A drug, possession to distribute a Class B drug, and conspiracy to violate the drug law. Additional arrests may be forthcoming.”
