Now does anyone else suddenly fear the words ‘last day of school’ ‘half term’ or the worst one ‘summer holidays’ . It can’t just be me surely! Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love my children and I will do anything for them but my god how many of these half terms do they actually get in a year? and how many do they actually need? It feels like there’s one every three weeks.
My daughter Tula has been going to the primary schools nursery since she was 3, she’s one of the oldest in her class so she was in the nursery for what felt like years. Tula has now started in reception and I love that she’s started with all her friends she was in nursery with. It’s just amazing watching them grow up.
So what do other parents have planned to keep there children entertained during these holidays? Tula loves to paint and colour so I have a couple wooden money boxes for her to paint on the rainy days that I got in the sale at Aldi , who doesn’t love a sale? Or Aldi for that matter. My son Hunter has not long turned one and is showing all the signs of wanting to walk so I’ll be trying to help him along during the half term. Fingers crossed we all make it out of this half term still sane and excited for the Christmas one.
