World Wrestling Federation presents Superstars
Date:
1/21/1995
From: Newark, DE

Matches:
1.) WWF Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon defeated Charlie Hunter
2.) Henry Godwinn defeated Rich Myers
3.) Adam Bomb defeated Mark Starr
4.) King Kong Bundy defeated Nick Barberri
5.) Aldo Montoya defeated Nick Torentino

Angle Developments/Notes:
1. After Ramon’s squash match, we see Jeff Jarrett on the big screen and wants Ramon right now instead of the Rumble. Jarrett wants a response and Ramon grabs a microphone. Razor responds but as he speaks the microphone is cut off by the Roadie! Jarrett taunts Ramon calling him a coward.

2. A video promoting Man Mountain Rock is aired. Rock is a heavy metal guitar player. He was previously known as Maxx Payne in WCW.

3. A video promoting Kama is also aired. Kama is a supreme fighting machine and will be debuting soon.

4. Shawn Michaels and the Heartbreak Hotel is back this week. Shawn’s guest is the number one contender for the WWF World Championship, Bret Hart. Michaels talks about Bret being a changed man. Shawn wonders if Bret has indeed changed. Bret had some fun on a television show but now it’s time to get back to business. Michaels thinks that Hart has been spending too much time in Hollywood and not focusing on his title match at Rumble. Shawn remembers seeing Diesel power bomb Bret back when Diesel meant something. Michaels tells Hart that he doesn’t have family or friends around. Shawn asks Bret what he is going to do when Diesel drops Bret with the power bomb again. Bret isn’t so sure that Diesel could beat him. Bret admits he doesn’t know if he could beat Diesel with the sharpshooter. Michaels cuts Hart off and Bret gets frustrated. So, he yanks the microphone away. Bret knows what Diesel is all about as they wrestled before. Bret knows what Diesel can do and tells Diesel that no one can wrestle like him. “Diesel, I want that belt back!”

Final Thoughts:
A fairly boring episode without a feature match. Not all that surprising since we got two feature matches last week. Bret’s promo was much better than Diesel’s, by the way. A thumbs down for this episode.
