“I am so proud that others have come forward to give their support AGAINST those people who thought they were SAFE from the evil that they had done. The GREATER EVIL is that people in HIGH places TRIED to cover it up by delay and dissemination.”

I am glad to see an organization as this that is standing up and speaking out on issues that matter.
I am a parent advocate that believes the system needs a transformation.
My story is unique so I thought, until I started reading other parents story about losing parental rights.
Through my experience with CPS and the court system, I was inspired to start my own website to share my story. I am happy to say that after 5 years, I have finally been re-united with my only son.

  7. Carla Burks says:

I am glad to see parents and individuals from all areas coming together to be heard. I am a parent advocate and I am hoping to spread awareness about the flaws in our system.

  8. Do actually think this is true?

  22. This seems to address mostly UK, Scotland, Australia and not enough for the American CPS cases, Laws, Rights etc. The system here is horrible, just in my State over 20 Children being killed by being placed with the other parent with abuse charges, drug conviction and more, also the Foster Care System is just as bad with rape, abuse, neglect etc. they aren’t truly vetted and the children are paying for this in horrible ways, even death. As you know Cannabis has been legalized in half the States for Medical use yet what is happening now is that parents that are taking this for an approved conditions, under Doctors supervision, such as Cancer, Chrons, Chronic Pain and many more reasons are having their children taken away. Also, even if the Medical Cannabis is for a Child’s disease, mainly seizure disorders, parents are being reported by Doctors that want the child to just die, as all pharmaceutical meds have failed and they aren’t up to date with 100’s of Studies & Peer review Papers on Med Cannabi, therefore, these children are basically being kidnapped by CPS. My belief is it should be written into the Cannabis Laws that unless Well and Honest Documentation of abuse, neglect, etc. is proven beyond any doubt, the Children should be kept with their parents, especially when most Pharma Meds are much more dangerous such as Opiate Meds. This is a problem that is growing as more States legalize this medication. Both of the issues I brought up are unacceptical, period. My State had a National Investigation and a view people lost jobs but the very troublesome and horror stories have continued. Please expand your help for American Families.
Thank you for what you are doing by giving Parents this Information and giving them a Voice!!!

Well this is my birthday and i just turned 54. on Jan. 7,2016. To the person who says this seems to be more for the U.K. well in all of what DCF in Mass. put my family through, That was where i seemed to get stuck as a Medical Asst. I didn’t know much about Law. What i found out quick, and i still might be wrong, was that i had to find case law ,from the U.K. ,to compare my case to. I will be telling our story in full ,As well as proof reading. I have been told about all my mistakes in writing ,but i am as passionate as you are going to get. My story has a liitle bit of everything in it,and i can prove it,. So can someone please tell me where i begin. Please.

I really dislike reading these stories.
      They need to be told.
      Child protective services …
The great thing is your granddaughter is never in foster care.
Maybe bite the bullet and have her as much as you can, then make an application directly to the Court before anything bad happens.
You are a wonderful grandmother and keep telling yourself that when you do feel your faith maybe slipping. Lastly, never tell CPS what you are planning to do!
