We’re holding a Magic: the Gathering Pioneer RCQ Saturday, June 1st at Alternate Universes Blue Bell!
This RCQ supports the Regional Championship at SCG CON Washington DC Oct. 4th–6th, 2024! Thanks to our WPN Premium Store status, we are able to award 2 invites to the next Magic Regional Championship at each of our RCQs!
Magic Regional Championship Qualifiers are open to everyone, and are a player’s first step down the road of competitive Magic. RCQs qualify players for Regional Championships, which in turn qualify players for the Pro Tour and the Magic World Championship.
Each player gets a Secret Lair promo Springleaf Drum for entering! Top 16 finishers get a Secret Lair promo Goblin Guide, and each player who qualifies for the Regional Championship gets a FOIL Goblin Guide! Both of these promos feature BRAND NEW ART! These promos are in addition to store credit and invite prizes.

We’re holding Magic: the Gathering Modern Horizons 3 SEALED Prerelease tournaments June 7th-9th at all three of our stores!
All Prerelease tournaments are 3 rounds. At the tournament start time, each player is given a Prerelease Pack to build a deck and then play for 3 rounds. Prizes can be collected after Round 3. Lands will be provided for free at the event!
Format: Sealed Deck
Each player gets one Modern Horizons 3 Prerelease Pack to use to build a 40+ card deck and play for 3 rounds. Each one contains:
- 6 Modern Horizons 3 Play Boosters; each Play Booster contains 14 Magic cards
- 1 foil, year-stamped Rare or Mythic Rare
- 1 Magic: The Gathering Arena code card (only available in select regions)
- 1 deck box
- 1 Spindown die
Modern Horizons 3 Preorders are open now! MH3 Preorders can be picked up during the Prerelease starting June 7th.

There is a strict 1,000 player cap on this event.

• The 1st Ranked Duelist at the end of Swiss will receive a Regional Card Case.

Qualifying duelists must complete WCQ Invite Forms. Regardless of attendance, only four (4) invites are awarded for a Dragon Duel tournament at a Regional Qualifier.
Side Event Schedule (Open To Everyone)
ALL SIDE EVENT TOURNAMENTS WILL BEGIN REGISTRATION AFTER THE START OF ROUND 1 (AT APPROXIMATELY 10:30 AM).
You cannot play in a side event if you are still playing in the Regional.

Registration will be open from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM on Saturday, June 15th.

Yugioh Regional Qualifiers are the primary qualifying events for World Championship Qualifiers (WCQs) in North America. Regional Qualifiers are Tier 2 events and require a high standard of sportsmanship from the Duelists.
There is a strict 1,000 player cap on this event.
PRIZES
When we reach 500 or more Duelists, the Top 64 finishers will receive invites to the next World Championship Qualifier!
Top 8 finishers will receive Regional playmats
Top 4 will receive Regional deck boxes.
*Note: There is no longer a Top 8 Cut. Prizes are awarded on the order of finish from Swiss rounds.

Dragon Duel Prizes
• The 1st Ranked Duelist at the end of Swiss will receive a Regional Card Case.
• Top 4 Duelists in a Dragon Duel tournament will receive a Regional Game Mat.
• Top 4 Duelists earn an invite to the Dragon Duel World Championship Qualifier for North America
Qualifying duelists must complete WCQ Invite Forms. Regardless of attendance, only four (4) invites are awarded for a Dragon Duel tournament at a Regional Qualifier.
Side Event Schedule (Open To Everyone)
ALL SIDE EVENT TOURNAMENTS WILL BEGIN REGISTRATION AFTER THE START OF ROUND 1 (AT APPROXIMATELY 10:30 AM).
You cannot play in a side event if you are still playing in the Regional.
Win-A-Mat Tournaments – Entry fee: $14.00 cash/$15.00 credit or debit card. (single elimination, 3 booster packs for entering, 8 players per tournament max, winner receives the official Win-A-Mat playmat)
Players may enter as many Win-A-Mat tournaments as they wish, but they cannot still be entered in the Regional tournament. Each new Win-A-Mat tournament will begin as soon as 8 players enter.
Time Wizard Tournaments (April 2010 Format) — Entry fee: $14.00 cash/$15.00 credit or debit card. (single elimination, 3 booster packs for entering, 8 players per tournament max, winner receives an official playmat). The Format uses all cards playable at the Shonen Jump Championship (SJC) April 2010 Tournament.

We’re holding a Magic: the Gathering Legacy 1K+ Tournament on Saturday, June 15th at Alternate Universes Wilmington! A 1K+ is a special Magic: the Gathering tournament where we give away a MINIMUM of $1,000 in store credit as prizes to the Top 8 players! Store credit is awarded on a rechargeable AU gift card, and can be used at any of our three locations.

This RCQ supports the Regional Championship at SCG CON Washington DC Oct. 4th–6th, 2024! Thanks to our WPN Premium Store status, we are able to award 2 invites to the next Magic Regional Championship at each of our RCQs!
Magic Regional Championship Qualifiers are open to everyone, and are a player’s first step down the road of competitive Magic. RCQs qualify players for Regional Championships, which in turn qualify players for the Pro Tour and the Magic World Championship.

MTG Standard Showdown is returning to Alternate Universes starting this February! We’re holding a special Standard Showdown Kick-Off Tournament at each store to get things started, featuring exclusive Lunar New Year Promos! Each player who enters gets a Dragonlord’s Servant, and the winner gets a Sarkhan Unbroken!
Every week following the kick-off will be a regular Standard Showdown tournament in the same time slot! This season will feature full-art traditional foil Omenpath Basic Lands for top performers while supplies last! Players also win store credit based on their record after 3 rounds.
The first season of Standard Showdown runs until Apr. 11, 2024.
