It is in the superb Loire Valley which is part of the world heritage and surrounded by the magnificent castles of Saumur and Montsoreau, that our domain has been known for its wine for generations.
It is between the Troglodytes and old historical building that we harvest our vineyards’gold to offer our international clients a unique wine that bursts with fruity flavors and rounded tannins.
The Fessardiere castle contains in its cellars magnificent ruins from the 17th century. Under towering arches reminding churches of the region, there are still unique presses and imposing wine vats carved into the tuffeau stone which were so innovative for their time.
The wines :
Cuvee ‘’ Saumur Champigny’’
100% Cabernet Franc grape. Clay & limestone soil. This wine is soft on the palate. Fresh red berries, Nice fruity nose. Will nicely accompany white meats.

Cuvee “Vieilles vignes”
100% Cabernet Franc grape. Clay & limestone soil. The vines are about 35 years old. Powerful wine, full with a nice tannic structure, covered by persistent notes of very ripe red fruit. Will pair with cheeses, game & red meats.
