Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month here in the United States. It’s also celebrated throughout the world. As a poet, I like to share poetry and spread the love of poetry to as many people as possible. A month long celebration is a great way to accomplish this. Because of this, I’ve taken the entire month of April to turn the blog over to poetry, and nothing else. I call it Poetry Month. I took the National part out of the equation so it includes everyone (not that I have anything against the original month’s name. I mostly didn’t want to copy it word for word.)

If you’d like to see what past (and near future) Poetry Months have been like here on A Life Among the Pages, click on the year you’d like to travel to and you’ll be directed to a list of posts for that month’s celebration.

Also, if you’re interested in being part of the next Poetry Month, feel free to let me know at any point (but please consider contacting me again a month or so before that April. That way we make sure to get you included on the list.) through my contact form.
