I’m a historian studying the past of countries and their minoirities in East-Central-Europe from the 19th century to the present. Cooking, walking and wines make me more rested in my spare time.

I hold a PhD in history, work as a research fellow in a research institute and editor in chief of a quaterly journal of political history. My work focuses on the history of the minorities and nationalities in East-Central Europe, in the 19th and 20th centuries. I published three books and a lot of articles from scholarly journals to op ed pieces in newspapers. My present research topic is politics of identity in the interwar era in Romania.
