Timex manufactured Sinclair computers for the company and sold them in North America under its own brand. The TS1000 was the Sinclair ZX81 in North American garb. Production of the TS1000 and the TS1500 ceased in February 1984. The Spectrum-based TS2000 was discontinued at the same time.

The TS2068 offered a larger keyboard than the TS2000, more memory capacity, and an enhanced graphics mode.
