ICL (U.K)

ICL formed in 1968 with the merger of Electric Computers and International Computers and Tabulators. It became a leading British manufacturer of large computing systems. Fujitsu bought a controlling stake in the company in 1990, and in 2001 rolled all remaining ICL operations into Fujitsu.

The ICL Professional Computer was one of several attempts the company made at selling microcomputers. It was a fairly typical CP/M system.
