This company changed names more often than some people change socks. At least the Hyperion portable kept its name through it all. The system changed cosmetically during its production run; some have beige cases and others are gray with minor differences on the front panels. The Hyperion was one of the first luggable PC-compatible systems, and Bytec-Comterm was one of the first system vendors to endorse Microsoft Windows in 1983.
