Why do we need to do this

Sites with poor code and errors send a low quality signal to Google. Coding errors may also effect your site and rankings in countless ways that you may be unaware of and may also draw suspicion of cloaking.

What does this mean

Html code in the backbone of your site. Basically Google believe that sites with less coding errors are in general better sites than sites with multiple errors. A small number of errors are absolutely fine (no site is perfect) but multiple errors send out a bad signal. Multiple errors may also send out a suspicious or irregular code signal i.e. the site could be malware or cloaked or in some way inappropriate attracting a Google penalty in extreme cases.

What do I do: If you are not a coder, just check to see if there are any errors by clicking on https://www.onlinewebcheck.com and do the following.

This page will then come up.

Unless you know what you are doing don’t try to fix them but email them to whoever made your website. It is their error and they should fix it for you.
