The project have been co-funded according to The Malopolska Regional Operational Programme on years from 2007 to 2013.

Predictable activities according to the Project:

  • organizing of quartal period meeting (teleconference) on the internet platform with the participation of renowned experts;
  • organizing of thematic sessions about “orphan” heart disease during the meetings of European Society of Cardiology;
  • participation in conference about “orphan” heart disease;
  • organize of the international conference about “orphan” heart disease;
  • organizing probations in external centers in the field of treating patients with “orphan” heart disease;
  • meetings in local centres in Malopolska;
  • enlargement the website about “orphan” heart disease;
  • the creation of “Model of movement management of patients suffering on “orphan” heart disease in cooperation with Malopolska branch of the national health fund;
  • the creation of training programme about “orphan” heart disease for medical students;?
  • the creation of online registry system about “orphan” heart disease.

Aims of the project:

  • to get higher competitive of Malopolska as an european advanced center diagnosis and treatment of “orphan” heart disease;
  • joint initiatives in the Central and Estern Europe;
  • improving the qualifications of the project participants;
  • equal opportunities in access to diagnostic and treatmant of “orphan” heart disease for patients from Malopolska and the others countries in Europe by education of medical personel and by creation of consulting network;
  • the creation and coordination regional network of cooperation with Cardiology Centers in Malopolska and in the Europe;
  • the creation of “Model of movement management of patients suffering on “orphan” heart disease based on based on abroad solutions, ready to deploy by stakeholders from the ​​Malopolska;
  • the creation of online registries system about “orphan” heart disease;
  • the creation of training programme about “orphan” heart disease for medical students;
  • using clinical experiences from partners’ centres on the field of diagnostic and treating patients with “orphan” heart disease and elaborating appropriate algorithms of proceeding; beside this: exchanging experiences, knowledge, know-how and good practises;
  • getting clinical experiences during probations in external centers in the field of treating patients with “orphan” heart disease;
  • conducting highly advanced clinical probations in our Center in the field of diagnosis and therapy of “orphan” heart disease;
  • the creation of registries system about “orphan” heart disease;
  • dissemination of knowledge about “orphan” heart disease and promotion results of the projects;
  • participation in creation european standards about main issues about creation of new Europe.
