Reading and writing is obviously important to the Horsemen who are especially good at both. As literacy rates continue to decrease and public schools lose funding, organizations like iWRITE fill in the gaps by going into economically disadvantaged schools with creative writing programs for students.  They have published over 500 young writers since 2009, creating literacy leaders in the Houston community.

The Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute was created to develop strong leadership skills through friendship, sound learning, and moral rectitude. By bringing together the up and coming freshman and sophomore leaders from Phi Delta Theta chapters across the United States and Canada, Kleberg creates a Phi Delt learning laboratory, where one is able to learn leadership skills from his peers and distinguished alumni.

The Children’s Assessment Center (The CAC) provides a safe haven to sexually abused children and their families – a place where they can receive the kind of care and treatment they so richly deserve. They employ an extraordinarily effective multidisciplinary team approach in the prevention, assessment, investigation, referral for prosecution and treatment of child sexual abuse.  Their goal is to promote the complete healing of child victims of sexual abuse and their families.
