William M. Hall

William Maywood Hall, 42, a Newport News native, died Sunday in Tampa, FL of injuries sustained in a fall from a tugboat near there. He was captain of the vessel.

He was a member of Lorian Lodge 87, AF&AM. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles S. Hall of 2401 Roanoke Ave., Newport News; six brothers, C. B. Hall, C. H. Hall and I. E. Hall, all of Newport News, C. E. Hall of Danville, R. K. Hall of the US Air Force and P. I. Hall of Tampa; two sisters, Mrs. W. S. Brown of Newport News and Mrs. G. T. Stainback of Warwick; two daughters, Miss Gloria Ann Hall and Mrs. Elwood Elmore of Newcastle; a half-brother, C. C. Hall of Richmond and two half-sisters, Mrs. Edith Kelly of Richmond and Mrs. Daisy Atkins of New York.

Funeral services will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon in Peninsula Funeral Home with the Rev. A. Lanson Granger, pastor of First Congregational Christian Church of Warwick, officiating.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be F. L. Lightfoot, James Murphy, John Jurscaga, R. W. Bunn, James Meadows, Earl McCormick. Honorary pallbearers will be other friends of the family.

The body is to arrive this afternoon in Newport News.
