ALLEN MCCORQUODALE JR.
HAMPTON – Allen L. McCorquodale Jr., 77, died Saturday, Feb. 17, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.
A native of Clio, S.C., Mr. McCorquodale was a Peninsula resident for 57 years. He retired from the Daily Press after 43 years and was a member of First Christian Church of Hampton.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl H. McCorquodale; and one daughter, Barbara M. Abrahamson of Hamilton, N.Y.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church by Dr. Lewis A. McPherren. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to First Christian Church of Hampton, 1458 Todds Lane, 23666, or to a favorite charity.
