Frank C. Wiatt

Funeral services for Frank Churchill Wiatt, 65, of 41 Algonquin Road, Hampton, who died Sunday, will be held at 11 am tomorrow in R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul K. Buckles, DD, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Newport News, officiating.

Pallbearers will be A. T. Ward, David Peltz, Garland Hunt, D. T. Wessells, Allen R. Hoffman and W. R. Williams. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park.

Mr. Wiatt was US Shipping Commissioner of the Port of Newport News for 25 years, and following his retirement, he was a public accountant.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eloise Wiatt; two sons, Robert S. Wiatt of Newport News and Maj. Frank C. Wiatt of Fort Eustis; four sisters, Miss Kate Wiatt and Mrs. Mary Gary, both of Gloucester, Miss Addie V. Wiatt of College Park, MD, and Mrs. O. M. Stevens of Warwick; one brother, Robert B. Wiatt of Warwick, and six grandchildren.
