ANN B. WALL

HAMPTON – Ann Balmer Wall, 76, died Monday, March 11, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

Mrs. Wall was a native of Hampton and a lifelong Peninsula resident. She was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean W. Nichols of Goochland County and Judith W. McClain of Liberty, Ind.; a sister, Helen B. Slear of Hampton; three brothers, C.V.B. Balmer, Frederick C. Balmer and Thomas E. Balmer of Hampton; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Howard W. Saunders. The family will be at the residence at 340 Darby Ave.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, 618-C J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News 23601.

HAMPTON – Ann Balmer Wall, 76, died Monday, March 11, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital.

A joint graveside service for Mrs. Wall and her brother, C. Van Balmer, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Howard W. Saunders.

The families will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
