The South African flag is the only flag in the world to contain six colors without having a seal or coat of arms on it. The flag contains a red band on top and a blue band on the bottom that are separated by a green band that splits into a “Y” shape. The green band contains a white border and the “Y” forms a black triangle with a yellow boarder. The flag of South Africa was adopted on April 27, 1994.
