A Sad Prediction Fulfilled

An inquest was held recently at Cashes Green, near Stroud, on the body of James Pride, aged 66, of Broadmead, Bristol, who fell dead on the road to Cashes Green, on Monday morning.

Deceased formerly lived in Salisbury (residing many years in Fisherton) and owned some property at Cashes Green. He left Bristol by an early train on Monday morning, in company with his wife. On the way from Dudbridge Midland Station, and when near Cashes Green, he was talking to his wife about the crops in the fields through which they were passing, when he fell dead. Mr Phipps, a farmer, rendered assistance.

Mrs Pride said her husband expected to die suddenly. Verdict : “Death from Natural Causes, probably heart disease.”
