Williams, Georgina 1880 November 20th Stapleford
An inquest was held by Mr R M Wilson, on Saturday last, on the body of a child named Georgina Williams, aged 1 year and eight months, the daughter of Frank Williams, whose death occurred under the following circumstances.
The child ran into her grandmother’s house, in which there was a kettle standing on the hob containing boiling water, from which the child must have drunk some, as her mouth was sadly scalded and she died from the effect of her injuries sustained the same evening about 10 o’clock. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
